Somali Water and Rural Development Organisation is a non-profit organisation committed to improving access to clean and safe water for rural communities in Somalia.
SWRDO focuses on supporting underserved populations by They must walk long distances to access water. In many rural areas, women, children, and elderly people face serious challenges due to water scarcity. Our work aims to ease this burden and improve their daily lives by bringing water closer to communities.
The organisation implements practical and sustainable solutions, including:
- Rehabilitation and maintenance of existing water wells
- Repair and restoration of livestock water reservoirs
- Construction of hand-dug wells
- Drilling of deep boreholes using modern rigs
